Skilled for Health is the evidence based, national Health Literacy embedded learning resource. It is aimed at those adults who have the poorest health and learning outcomes. For further details go to: www.chlfoundation.org.uk
Understanding and using Skilled for Health is a one day workshop which provides an introduction to the resources. It is aimed at experienced trainers and will show participants how to use the resources in their work. The workshop includes practical sessions on planning and delivering Skilled for Health.
- To provide information and activities which will help participants understand the aims of Skilled for Health and the issues faced by people who participate in it
- To familiarise participants with the national Skilled for Health learning resources and to reflect on how they could be delivered.
