    Transforming patient experience: conference 4 November 2015

    The King’s Fund annual conference on transforming patient experience, held in partnership with the Point of Care Foundation, takes place on 4 November in London.

    The conference will feature good practice case studies and keynote presentations with a focus on engaging the most vulnerable people in society and improving their experience of care, including:

    • frail older population
    • people with mental illness or learning disabilities
    • black and minority ethnic groups
    • vulnerable children
    • young people and others who encounter health inequalities

    Event topics include:

    • Involving patients’ and families perspectives for people with dementia and at the end of life
    • Co-designing services for older people
    • Engaging with vulnerable groups to improve patient experience
    • Gathering data for improvements by engaging patients
    • Developing and commissioning patient and family centred care
    • Working with patients to co-produce improvements
    • Improving patient experience for people with learning disabilities
    • Collating patient data to improve commissioning and services
