Sue Farrington is a highly experienced senior leader with 18 years’ experience across the public, voluntary and private sectors, with particular expertise in communications. She has spent the last four years as Director of Communications, Information & Education at the MS Society, transforming the way they engage and communicate with people affected by MS, their volunteers, funders and staff.
Before joining the MS Society, Sue was Director of Corporate Affairs at Community Service Volunteers (CSV), where she led the development of a pioneering strategic partnership between the charity and BBC Local Radio, to help people access information on health, welfare and social issues. Prior to this, Sue was Head of Radio at the COI, responsible for a daily news and weekly programme service providing information on science, politics, arts & culture, which was distributed worldwide.
She is currently Vice Chair of Governors at a primary school and previously served on the Ofcom Advisory Committee for England.
