Royal Society for Public Health training: understanding behaviour change

The RSPH is delivering a train the trainer course for Understanding Behaviour Change on March 25.

This day aims to orientate participants to the RSPH level 2 Understanding Behaviour Change award, its application, learning outcomes and options for delivery. It enables participants to consider how they might deliver the programme to their target audience within their specific setting.

The Understanding Behaviour Change course is aimed at the wider health improvement workforce, and has been developed to help learners understand the importance of listening and observing when developing relationships with individuals. Learners will also gain understanding in communication styles and have the knowledge and confidence to offer brief advice and engage in brief interventions to improve health and wellbeing.
