PIF, in association with The Information Standard (TIS), is delighted to announce two events to be held in June 2017 exploring the topic of measuring the impact of health information. The first event will take place in Leeds on Wednesday 7 June, and the second in London on Friday 9 June 2017.
PIF and TIS members all recognise the vitally important role of high-quality health information in supporting people to understand, make decisions about, and manage their health, wellbeing and care. But how can we better understand and evaluate the difference health information makes? What are we currently measuring, and how are we measuring it?
The events will be ‘Open Space’ in style – meaning the discussions will be decided by meeting participants. The sessions will focus on the issues that matter to you and your organisation.
Participants will be invited to share the approaches to evaluation you currently use. We will explore the challenges you face in evaluating the impact of your work, and the opportunities that exist to drive this topic forwards. The events will identify a list of priority actions that will create practical support for your work in this area.
A third event will take place on Friday 16 June 2017 in London, where participants from both events will be invited back for a shorter session to undertake some more focused work on actions that have been identified as a priority.
The events are free to attend. But please note, as spaces are limited, for 'no-shows' or where cancellation is made with less than 72 hours notice, a £45+VAT fee will be payable. No fee will be payable if a colleague attends in your place.
We expect the events to be over-subscribed and so only one person per organisation will be able to attend the event. To book your place at the Leeds event please complete and submit the booking form below.
We look forward to working with you on this important issue.
