Join us for this practical and interactive one day event to help you develop your business case for information!
We are delighted to share with you the agenda for our 'Developing your business case for information' event on Friday 16 October 2015, which will kindly be hosted by Macmillan Cancer Support in London.
This event will explore how you can build and communicate your business case for information, and use meaningful evidence to to demonstrate the value of your information services and projects.
The learning from this event will be widely applicable, so whether you want to develop a business case to influence internal managers, funders, commissioners, policy makers, or the healthcare professionals you work with, this event will be relevant.
The discussions will help each delegate identify the key stakeholders they need to influence, what their specific barriers or challenges are, the evidence they will need to collect, and how they might want to approach developing and sharing their business case.
Rhian Last - Education Lead at Education for Health - will also join us to run a workshop session focused on developing the leadership skills relevant for the effective communication of a business case including resilience, influencing skills and the language of leadership.
As an output from the day PIF will create a template for use by PIF members, to allow you to put together their own business case.
There will be an opportunity for delegates who want to continue the work from the day to be part of an informal action learning set, and continue to work with PIF and other delegates to develop and use their business case.
This event is FREE to attend for PIF members, and costs £75+VAT for non-members. Numbers are limited to 25 so if you would like to attend please book now to avoid disappointment.
