A 1 day event looking at engaging communities and overcoming barriers to accessing health information!

Many communities and individuals face barriers and hurdles when trying to access health information. The aim of this one day event was to explore the barriers that exist for different groups in accessing health information support, and explore approaches to engaging communities, and overcoming or breaking down those challenges.

The event was held at the Kings House Conference Centre, King’s Church, Sidney Street, Manchester  M1 7HB.

The in-depth seminar day brought together speakers from NHS England, with patient groups and community representatives. It looked at emerging policies and standards for delivering accessible information and overcoming health inequalities, along with practical sessions on understanding and engaging communities,
