Take part in the PIF Health and Digital Literacy Survey 2019

The success of the NHS plan depends on all sectors providing information and support services that meet the health and digital literacy needs of the population.

Understanding and improving health and digital literacy should be a key objective for anyone who works in the field of health information or who communicates with the public in any way about their health.

In 2013 the Patient Information Forum (PIF) undertook a survey which sought to gain insight into health literacy.

It explored what health literacy meant, what specific strategies were in place to address the needs of people with low health literacy and how these strategies were implemented.  You can read the report of the 2013 survey here.

In 2019 we are repeating the survey to see what has changed, and how both health and digital literacy needs are being addressed and what is needed to provide equal access to information and support.

We would be grateful if you could take the time to complete the survey, which you can find here.

The survey will take around 5-10 minutes to complete and should be returned by Friday 18 October 2019.

Please enter your name and email address at the end of the survey to be entered into a prize draw to win a £20 Amazon voucher.
