Opportunities to influence NICE guideline on moving between health and social care services

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and the NICE Collaborating Centre for Social Care are looking for applications from service users and carers to be part of the group that will develop guidance about moving between health and social care services. The key focus of the guideline will be on the transition between hospital and home, where someone has social care needs.

Members of this group will play a key role in making sure that the views of service users and carers, and their experiences and interests, inform the development of the guidance and recommendations for social care and the NHS. NICE is also inviting organisations to register as stakeholders to comment on the draft scope of the clinical guideline. The consultation ends at 5pm Tuesday 11th February. To register your organisation or make your comments click here.
