On Thursday 28 November NICE are hosting a free, interactive webinar to explore the practicalities of integrating health, social care and public health and to explore the available support. You can register for the event here.
The new integrated health, social care and public health system represents a number of challenges and opportunities for the community, and one year into practice there are a growing number of leading projects to learn from, and tools including NICE guidance and quality standards that can support the process.
The webinar will cover the latest in evidence-based guidance and best practice, and will look at:
• How can Health and Wellbeing Boards make the most of the £3.8bn integrated care fund?
• How can NICE quality standards and guidance help to commission integrated care
• What can we learn from the integration pioneers?
• What will integration mean for patients and service users?
The discussion will be chaired by Steve Sparks, Associate Director, Field Team, NICE. Confirmed speakers include: Professor Gillian Leng, Deputy Chief Executive, NICE; John Nawrockyi, Director of Adults and Older Peoples Services, London Borough of Greenwich; Alex Fox Chief Executive, Shared Lives Plus; Dr Robert Stewart, Chair of the Kent Integration Pioneer Group, Health & Social Care Integration Kent and Clinical Design Director, White Gate Design.
