New resources give practical, culturally sensitive dietary advice for South Asian population

Do you need quality, translated resources to improve the nutrition related health and wellbeing of South Asian populations?

Nutrition and Diet Resources UK (NDR-UK) this week launched South Asian Nutrition’s (SAN) resources. Dedicated to providing easily accessible, evidence-based nutritional information, the SAN range gives practical culturally sensitive dietary advice for South Asian populations. This range of 13 different titles is available in English, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil and Urdu language versions.  It includes topics such as healthy eating, heart health and diabetes, with advice for specific dietary concerns such as meal and snack ideas, calcium and iron intake.

Supported by the Multicultural Group of the British Dietetic Association, the resources are now available from NDR-UK.
