We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jacquie White as a Non-Executive Director to the Board of the Patient Information Forum. Jacquie will bring to the Board a wealth of experience in policy and strategy development, commissioning and quality improvement in health and care.
In her current role as Deputy Director: Long Term Conditions, Older People and End of Life Care at NHS England she leads on a wide range of initiatives working in partnership to ensure outcomes based person-centred care.
Jacquie is passionate about the difference high-quality health information and support can make for patient outcomes and experience, when embedded into care delivery models. Most recently her team developed and published a frailty leaflet in collaboration with older people, Age UK and Public Health England. The aim being to raise awareness of what frailty is and what people can do about it themselves, with their GP practices and other services as part of a pathway of care.

I’m delighted to take up this role and incredibly excited about the opportunity to help PIF drive the integration of high quality information and support for patients. I regularly see and hear about examples that have made such a difference to people’s care and experience, and I want to help this way of working becoming the norm for everybody.
