Macmillan has created a new resource: Your life and your choices: plan ahead, which explains how people affected by cancer can plan ahead for their future care.
The booklet, now available to order on be.Mac, covers a variety of topics, including:
- creating a Lasting Power of Attorney,
- writing down how people affected by cancer would like to be cared for using a Preferred Priorities for Care document,
- and writing Advance Decisions to Refuse Treatment.
The booklet also has information about making a will, organ and tissue donation and funeral planning. Copies are available to order now on the Macmillan web site: http://be.macmillan.org.uk/be/p-20337-your-life-and-your-choices-plan-ahead.aspx
