Pancreatic Cancer UK is the only national charity fighting pancreatic cancer on all fronts: Support, Information, Campaigning and Research. We have an exciting job opportunity available.
- Information Manager
- Circa £35,000 (Pro rata) plus pension and other benefits
- Hours – 4 days per week (28 hours)
- Closing date for applications: 9am Monday 29 September
Following our Study for Survival in 2011, Pancreatic Cancer UK launched the Campaign for Hope which sets out two ambitious goals: to double five-year pancreatic cancer survival rates within five years; to change the NHS experience of pancreatic cancer patients from being one of the worst to one of the best.
This is an exciting time for the Charity as we are expanding our services team to enable us to establish a regional presence across the UK. As part of this work we want to increase our range of publications, the use of our publications by hospitals across the UK and increase the marketing of our services.
We are looking for someone with experience of managing the development, production and distribution of high quality health information. Ideally with previous experience of working to the requirements of the Information Standard. You’ll need to have excellent communication, writing, editing and proofing skills and the ability to translate complex health information into clear easy to understand information for patients and families.
For an informal discussion, please contact Anna Jewell, Head of Services and Involvement, on 07500 665 054 or email@example.com.
