Tommy’s is the largest charity funding research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and pre-term birth; four Tommy’s Centres are established around the UK, where some of the World’s leading scientists and clinicians in this field are making breakthroughs that are changing outcomes for families everywhere.
We are looking for an experienced content and website manager in an exciting role to manage the development and dissemination of pregnancy information content across all our digital channels, including email, web and social media. The person in this role will also work with stakeholders across the charity (for example from fundraising and finance) and our website agency to deliver new web and digital projects.
This is an important new opportunity for a passionate Website and Content Manager to join the rapidly growing marketing team at Tommy’s. The team are tasked with increasing awareness and familiarity of Tommy’s and to position us as a leading voice on stillbirth, miscarriage and premature birth, and to reach every pregnant woman in the UK with expert and evidence-based pregnancy advice.
This is an exciting time for the team; we have seen huge growth to all elements of the service over the last three years, with unique website users at 779k for July 2018, and pregnancy campaigns reaching 20m+. This new role will be instrumental in managing the development and dissemination of pregnancy information content across all our digital channels, including email, web and social media.This is a varied and hands-on-role, operating within a small team, and we are looking an excellent copywriter with experience of adapting content strategically across all platforms and for a variety of audiences. A successful candidate will have high digital literacy levels and experience of managing web development projects and budgets. Relationship building and cross-team working are also important skills required in this role.
The key objectives of this role are:
- to manage and develop pregnancy content for use across Tommy’s digital channels, including campaigns;
- to manage and grow Tommy’s pregnancy social channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube);
- to ensure the best user experience for all users of the Tommy’s website, with a special focus on the pregnancy information website.
