Action on Hearing Loss are delighted to have been awarded £1 million by the Big Lottery fund to expand our face-to-face volunteer led information services across London and South East England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Thanks to this award they will be able to empower and increase the number of older people who take action to manage their hearing loss.
As Regional Information Coordinator you will be responsible for delivering a range of information activities including talks, presentations and information stands, to provide information to older people with hearing loss and other key audiences in the community.
You will also have a key role in managing the team of volunteers supporting the UK Hear to Inform and Connect project, ensuring all volunteers are developed, trained and motivated to provide high quality outreach information services.
As a core member of the project team, you will support the development of delivery plans for the project in London and South East England, with a particular focus on building collaborative networks with local community groups and organisations who will be involved in and supported by the project.
