Crohn’s & Colitis UK are a national charity whose purpose is to improve life for everyone affected by Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. These lifelong and debilitating conditions affect over 300,000 people in the UK with nearly half of those being diagnosed each year under the age of 29. Our work covers a broad range of activities designed to achieve a better quality of life, improve support and services and, ultimately, find a cure.
We are seeking to recruit a full time Publications Officer to cover maternity leave on a six month fixed term contract with the possibility to extend. The role will support the Marketing, Communications & Membership team in the production of over 40 information sheets, booklets and guides about all aspects of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
We pride ourselves in producing publications of the highest quality for anyone affected by these conditions, including patients, friends, family, medical professionals and employers. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing easy to understand health information to support those affected, so that they have the information they need, at the right time and in the format of their choice.
This is an exciting time for the charity with a recently appointed new Chair, an emerging five year strategic planning phase, and a growing ambition and determination to have the greatest impact that we can.
Please note NFP Consulting has been retained as strategic partner to Crohn’s and Colitis UK. Any applications sent directly to Crohn’s and Colitis UK will therefore be forwarded onto to NFP.
You can apply directly via their website: https://nfpconsulting.co.uk/job/17071, or you can email your CV and covering letter – to include how you meet the requirements of the person specification – to either of the following:
