Providing high quality information is one of the essential services Pancreatic Cancer UK provides to support people with pancreatic cancer and their families. The Patient Information Officer will play a key role in producing this information.
You will develop information in print, online, and in other formats, drawing on recent research and the experience of people affected by pancreatic cancer. Working with our specialist nurses, health professionals and lay reviewers, you will be responsible for the production of clear, accurate, evidence-based information which meets the requirements of our Information Standard accreditation.
With at least two years’ experience of producing similar information resources, you will have excellent writing, editing and proofing skills, and be able to translate complex scientific information into easy to understand and accessible information. Great communication and project management skills are essential, as is an understanding of best practice in producing health information.
Most importantly, you will be committed to providing the highest standards of information to support those affected by pancreatic cancer.
