Crohn’s and Colitis UK is the leading UK charity in the battle against Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. We are fighting to achieve a better quality of life for the 300,000 people in the UK suffering physically and emotionally from these and other forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Ultimately, we want to find a cure.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and proactive Helplines Manager to lead our dedicated team of paid staff and volunteers as we expand our helpline services. The successful candidate will work within the Support Services directorate and play a leading role in the development of a range of service delivery platforms and information management systems.
The focus of this role is to manage and develop the helplines team of paid staff and volunteers to deliver a consistent, effective and high-quality service. The post holder will be responsible for leading on a programme of service and systems development using a range of delivery channels to maximise our impact for people affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
The Helplines Manager will also be a member of our joint management team, contributing to the leadership, planning and implementation of the Charity’s new five-year strategy, ‘Delivering Greatest Impact’.
