    In 2015 we successfully launched a new Information and Support service to help extend our reach and better support all people affected by terminal illness. This service includes a Support Line, an Online Community and a wide range of information.

    We’re looking for a talented Content Editor / Writer to help us develop and review our health and social care information for people living with a terminal illness, and their family and friends.

    About the role
    The Content Editor / Writer is responsible for developing and editing our public-facing health and social care information.  To do this, you’ll work with subject matter experts, including health and social care professionals, and people affected by terminal illness. You’ll work across a range of formats, including web pages, booklets, leaflets, video and audio content.
    You’ll work alongside another Content Editor / Writer and report to the Information and Support Content Manager.

    About you
    You’ll have significant experience in writing and editing information for the public, ideally writing health or social care information. You’ll use your research and writing skills to produce useful and clear information.

    You’ll have experience co-ordinating information reviews, working collaboratively with subject matter experts and people who use the information.

    As someone who is highly organised, you’ll be able to prioritise work and produce content to tight deadlines.
