Healthwatch has published an article sharing how local Healthwatch groups are using using videos to listen to and share the views of local people, and ensure their voices are heard.
The examples include:
- Healthwatch Essex has been listening to people with long-term conditions, such as diabetes and multiple schlerosis, in Essex about their experiences of health and care services.
- Healthwatch Hampshire has been working to understand the health and care needs of the Transgender community, exploring the ‘patient pathway’ through NHS services, from the initial GP appointment and referral, to a gender identity clinic, to hormone treatment and surgery.
- Healthwatch Wokingham explains what they found out about young peoples experience of health and wellbeing.
- Healthwatch Hillingdon has worked with Hillingdon Mind to produce a video on children and young people’s mental health services in Hillingdon.
