PIF event: Health Information for Children and Young People-3 Nov 2017

PIF is delighted to be holding an event on Health Information for Children and Young People on Friday 3 November 2017, at the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, London.

    • Innovative approaches to sharing information with children and young people
    • Co-creating and involving children and young people in the development of health information
    • Top tips for engaging with (or writing for) different age groups

Details of the agenda can be found on the PIF website here.

The day will be chaired by Kath Evans, Experience of Care Lead – Maternity, Infants, Children and Young People, at NHS England, who says:

Experience as a children’s nurse has shown me that having access to sensitive, accurate, well-timed information makes the world of difference to physical and emotional wellbeing at any age.

Health issues can be scary and information is critical. Whether we are supporting a child being admitted to hospital for a routine procedure, a young person with mental health concerns, or a child who is worried about a family member, information that is accurate and understandable is essential.
