    Get involved in RAREfest 2018

Cambridge Rare Disease Network would like to invite you to get involved in RAREfest 2018:

A first of its kind rare disease inspired celebration and exhibition on 30th Nov and 1 Dec 2018 at Cambridge Guildhall. We are particularly interested in the rarer disease community supporting this new venture as we believe together we will all be stronger.

RAREfest is a public-facing event with exhibition stands, talks with Q+A and a film festival. Exhibition stands will showcase technology, science, research and support networks in a fun and interactive way.

Some of the local companies who have signed up who are working in the tech and biotech space are Microsoft, Abcam, Pfizer and Congenica and we are discussions with Illumina, Rescape Virtual Reality, a range of charities, the Wellcome Genome Campus and healthcare professionals at Addenbrookes, among others.

This is a free event and we are a small charity, with big ideas. The event delivery is hugely expensive for us so we are asking supporters to contribute by becoming a sponsor or ‘Friend of RAREfest’.

Become a sponsor or a ‘Friend of RAREfest’ – as a sponsor/Friend discuss with us about having an interactive, hands-on exhibition stand as part of our group of 5 charities exhibits.
Be a media partner (free) and help us to collectively have a more powerful voice in raising awareness about rare disease. Add your charity details to our website, send leaflets for the event.
Give talks to the media about your condition in the run up to the event.
Submit your charity film as part of our VoteUp campaign coming soon – put forward a film for the film festival, publicise to get your followers and others to vote, those with the most votes will be included in RAREfest and links be on our website following the event.
Link with pharmaceutical companies- tell us about the drugs your patients use.
If you do want to be a media partner then you need to complete this form: https://goo.gl/forms/hFEYmwq6JhXgS4eH3
