Wednesday 13th February, Glasgow, 09.30 – 16.30
The Scottish Health Council is delighted to announce that registration is now open for this event, which will be held in the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow on Wednesday 13th February 2013. This FREE day-long conference is an opportunity for staff in the NHS and other sectors to share their experiences and learn about using social media to gather service user feedback to improve services and care and develop a dialogue with service users and communities.
- find out how the use of online technologies has developed since our last event in September 2011
- learn about innovative approaches from the NHS and other sectors
- have an opportunity to question the experts and try the technology out for themselves
- explore how to overcome barriers to using social media
Organisers anticipate that this event will be of interest to a range of NHS staff including those with responsibility for Communications, Patient Focus and Public Involvement and complaints and feedback together with colleagues from across the statutory and voluntary sectors. A warm invitation is extended to all interested in using social media to engage with people and to inform service improvement.
The event includes interactive workshops and the opportunity to network and discuss key successes and concerns.
