    Celebrating digital health that makes a difference

    This year at the Olympia UK eHealthweek a new set of awards will be launched, celebrating digital health services that have bought benefit to their users.

    The ‘Heads up’ awards aim to ensure that service users views and feedback are at the forefront of health technologists minds during the Olympia UK eHealthweek event in May.

    The Heads Up Awards are jointly run by BCS – the Chartered Institute of IT – the Academy of Fabulous Stuff, and HIMSS UK. Mark Duman, PIF Non-Executive Director will be one of the shortlisting judges.

    The awards invite patients, carers, healthcare and social care professionals to nominate digital services, systems, assistive technologies or devices that have made a real difference to themselves or the people they care for:

    • Helpful
    • Easy to use
    • Accessible
    • Digital
    • Services

    The awards are now open for submission and all you need to do to make a nomination is to fill in a simple online questionnaire. Nominations are open until 24th March.

    The shortlisted nominations will be available for public vote in April ready for the Heads Up awards ceremony on 3 May 2017 at UK e-Health Week at Olympia. All shortlisted nominees will be invited to attend the awards event.
