The British Medical Association has run a Patient Information Awards for the last twenty years in order to recognise excellence in the provision of information to patients and to support the valuable work which is done by many organisations.
The 2016 Awards are now open for applications. The Awards are free to enter and shortlisted organisations are invited to a ceremony at BMA House in London in September.
Entries can include all sorts of patient information, from a printed leaflet or information sheet, to digital resources and web information.
You can see pictures from last year’s awards and read about the winning entries at the BMA web pages:
The closing date for entries is 29 February 2016. You can find more information about the conditions of entry, the criteria for selection and judging criteria at the awards home page.
