The ABPI Patient Organisation Forum, re-launched for 2013, brings together representatives from both the pharmaceutical industry and patient organisations to discuss and share information about cross-cutting policy issues. The next meeting of the Forum is taking place on Friday 17 May 2013 (13:30-16:00 followed by an informal reception) and will feature a substantial discussion on the topic of Understanding the new NHS: Experiences so far. Attendees will be invited to pre-submit questions, concerns, and experiences about patient engagement in the new structures of the NHS. These will help shape the discussion at the meeting.
The Forum is currently open to representatives of patient organisations who are professionally or significantly engaged in policy development, government affairs, public relations or similar. Meeting attendance is currently limited to one representative per organisation.
Further details of the Forum can be found on the ABPI website, including the Terms of Reference of the group and the outputs of the previous meeting held in February.
The meeting takes place on 17 May 2013. To register attendance, or if you have any further questions about either the Forum or the meeting, then please email Nicola Partridge on firstname.lastname@example.org.
