Sarah joined PIF in February 2018.
She gained a BSC and MSC in Biomedical Sciences in Wales and has worked for 25 years in many different roles in the NHS starting in a pathology laboratory, then setting up pathology computer systems and undertaking various research projects around cancer information and moved from Cardiff to the West Midlands in 2000.
For the next 17 years Sarah worked in the patient information field both regionally and nationally, including developing a portal for health information for the public called EQUIP. She was involved with librarians and other information professionals across the sectors and led or participated in many initiatives to improve access to high quality health information.
Sarah left the NHS in June 2017 and set up a business, designing and creating fused glass jewellery which sells in shops and galleries.
