11 June 2010
News > Accessibility and usability
CHANGE is a national human rights organisation, campaigning for equal rights for all people with learning disabilities. They specialise in creating accessible resources on a variety of important subjects such as sexuality, cancer, parenting, health and housing.
On 25 June and 30 July they will be running a training session: “Making Information Accessible” from their offices in Leeds. The aim is to give you a full understanding of not only what accessible information really means but also how to create your own accessible documents for any situation.
The training is delivered by professional trainers with a learning disability and is mostly interactive and hands on in nature. The session lasts a full day and includes lunch and refreshments. Spaces are still available but book soon as they are limited.
