Citation: Jones RB, Goldsmith L. What is the evidence for the benefits and outcomes for digital health services? Final Report to NHS Choices November 2009. Published by University of Plymouth and the Patient Information Forum.
This was a ‘rapid review’ carried out in August-October 2009 of the literature on the impact of e-health. The University of Plymouth, working with PiF, were given a specific remit from NHS Choices and the report aims to meet the questions set. It is not a systematic review and, in some senses, can be thought of as ‘work in progress’. To write the report we identified many more publications than have been cited and will be continuing to review the literature.
