Public Involvement Coordinator (Clinical Research)

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our small and enthusiastic team at the INVOLVE Support Unit. We have a national brief from the Department of Health to provide information, advice and support to researchers, research commissioners and the public on active public involvement in research.
This new post, created to help us take forward our work to promote and support public involvement within clinical research, and in particular the UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC) and UK Clinical Research Network (UKCRN). The post will also involve providing support to the INVOLVE Group and undertaking specific project work on behalf of INVOLVE.
You should be committed to promoting public involvement in research, have experience of undertaking research and an understanding of clinical research.
The post will be based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, however the work will involve a certain amount of travel. It is also expected that for at least the first six months you will spend some time at the UKCRN office in London. This post is available immediately for three years.
