The Patient Information Conference: 'Getting Better Together' was held in Glasgow on the 21st April 2009.
Nicola Sturgeon, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing, introduced to the professionals and public there the plans for the new National Health Information and Support Service. Dr Chris Stewart (Clinical Development Director, NHS 24) and Arlene Campbell (Health Information Coordinator, NHS 24) presented the plans for service development over the coming months including brand development and the media launch planned for autumn 2009.
This very popular conference also provided an opportunity to share and explore some of the very interesting information and communication work currently being undertaken in both the NHS and voluntary sector.
