The London Health Commission is an independent inquiry established in September 2013 by the Mayor of London. The Commission will be chaired by Professor the Lord Darzi and report and will examine how London’s health and healthcare can be improved for the benefit of the population.
The Commission will examine four broad themes, and make recommendations under each:
• Improving the quality and integration of care
• Enabling high quality and integrated care delivery
• Healthy lives and reducing health inequalities
• Health economy, research and education
As part of the work of the Commission they are asking patients and the public, other stakeholders and interested parties, from London and beyond, to inform the Commission’s analysis and recommendations through the “Call for Evidence”.
