Complaints leaflets for young people
Health Rights Information Scotland (HRIS) is launching the third in a series of leaflets aimed at young people. The leaflet is called ‘Have your Say’ and it contains information about how to give feedback to, and make a complaint about, the NHS. ‘Have your Say!’ is aimed at children and young people and encourages young people to let the NHS know how they’re being treated. It also explains how to make a complaint about the NHS if they feel they have been treated unfairly.
The leaflet explains:
• what the rights of young people are
• who to speak to if they have a suggestion or complaint
• how the NHS deals with complaints, and
• who can help them have their say.
New complaints poster available
Copies of this brand new poster were distributed earlier this month. You can download a copy of ‘Help your NHS get it right!’ from the HRIS website. If you work for the NHS and would like copies of the poster, please ask the board contact in your area to provide you with these.
