Audio help

If you want to listen to the audio materials on this web site, you will need a computer with speakers and the necessary software or a music player (e.g. an iPod or mp3 player) on to which you can download the files.

If you decide to listen to the files on your computer, we would recommend that you install RealPlayer software, a free version of which is available on the sites listed below. If you are not sure whether or not you have this software on your computer already, try listening to a RealPlayer file (here's an example from the news section).
If you want to learn more about downloading and playing mp3 files on a portable system (this is called podcasting), please read more on the BBC web site.
