one-day event for the South West of England was hosted jointly with the
University of Plymouth. The event looked at some of the current topics
in consumer health information, in particular:
• How to make your information accessible to a range of audiences
• How new technologies can be harnessed to inform and support patients and the public
• Quality information and how to engender trust in the people who use it
• What’s new in health information and how it can be applied to day to day work
