Roger Killen

    In 2004, Roger founded The Learning Clinic (TLC) to develop scalable systems to improve the outcomes of healthcare, He continues to lead TLC as their Managing Director.  The Company have won many awards for their quality of IT in the sector, and in the contribution that their systems are making to patient safety.

    Before starting TLC, Roger was co-founder and Managing Director of Dr Foster Ltd, which rapidly became the market leader for research into medical outcomes. Roger invented and developed the Dr Foster clinical monitoring products and was responsible for their commercial exploitation within the NHS.

    Roger graduated in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Birmingham University. He is a chartered engineer and spent his early career as a specialist measurement and control engineer on major hazard chemical plants with ICI.

    He has been owner/manager of several businesses since graduating with an MBA from Stanford Business School in California in 1990.
