Gary Birkenhead

I am the Patient Information Centre Manager at Tameside General Hospital in Greater Manchester.  I have a Masters Degree in Information Management from Leeds Metropolitan University, and am a Chartered Librarian with experience in the academic, health and voluntary sectors.  Prior to starting at Tameside I worked for the disability charity Scope.  I am a committee member of the CILIP Health Libraries Group, where I am also Chair of its Membership and Publicity Panel.
