Producing Effective Information for Patients: The Key Issues
PiF Fourth annual conference
12 March 2009
Midland Hotel, Manchester
This years conference focused on ways of producing high quality patient information as well as raising the profile of health information in an environment where new initiatives and policy are pushing it further up the health agenda. The aim was to combine presentations about policy and future consumer health developments with practical workshop sessions exploring best practice and innovation in key subject areas.
For the first time this year delegates could choose either master classes or presentations in the main auditorium for part of the day. The master classes
were all about sharing insights into different aspects of producing
information. These ranged from to discussing
experience based design, to better medicines information and the Information Accreditation Scheme.
