Then the Patient Information Forum (PiF) is your organisation.

It is the UK’s only organisation for health information producers, for all sectors and at all levels. The network has over 450 members across the UK in the NHS, voluntary, public and commercial sectors and in academia.

We are a strong collective, independent voice
We speak up for the people and organisations that produce information - raising the issues that are important to you with Government, national and local policy makers.
We promote and support excellence
PiF provides training, education and guidance. We develop and promote quality standards and provide you with the tools you need to do your job.

Members of the network share their expertise and experience and support each other – we provide opportunities to discuss the key issues and find solutions to your problems

Aims

PiF exists to support its members through networking, education and training and as a channel through which to share experiences and good practice.
PiF also acts as a voice for the profession, working to see its importance recognised and to raise the profile and standards of consumer health information.

Our funding

PiF is funded by membership subscriptions, income from events and our annual conference, and by sponsorship for specific projects. PiF is a not-for-profit organisation. We rely both on the support of our members and on the relationships we build with like-minded organisations to develop our services and widen our influence.
