At PiF we are extremely fortunate to have access to an active group of members who are keen to share their knowledge and experience.   • Case study - information audit
    Beki Moult, Health Information and Language Manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH), describes the audit process at GOSH and the development of a new audit tool, EQIP.

    Beki Moult (GOSH) provides us with some useful background information about readability statistics.
  • DISCERN
    Dr Sasha Shepperd, Research Scientist in Evidence Synthesis at the Department of Public Health, University of Oxford, introduces us to the DISCERN instrument which assesses the quality of the content of consumer health information on treatment choices.
  • JudgeHealth
    Sue Childs, Research Fellow at the School of Computing, Engineering and Information Sciences, Northumbria University, introduces us to this project which aims to judge the quality of health information web sites.
